ASA Level 2 qualified teachers are a standard at Beaconsfield Swimming.
Safety, safeguarding and consistently high results are our priorities.

As such:
•  All our teaching staff are DBS checked and hold the ASA Level 1 or 2 qualification
•  Additionally at least one Level 2 teacher at any session will hold the NPLQ lifeguard qualification ensuring ultimate safety at all times

Driven by the outcomes:

To see a child learn to swim, and to know the lifeskill we have taught could potentially save their life is gold dust to us. All the other benefits pale into insignificance by contrast and our mission is to help as many local children learn this lifeskill properly, comprehensively and safely. We also hope one day they may even end up a teacher with us, spreading the knowledge.

Antenatal swimming is equally as important to us. Guiding an expectant mum through a comprehensive and specialist course, that can be the difference between a safe birth and potentially complicated birth, means we are helping create a foundation of more healthy births in the local community.

Every child we help learn to become a proficient swimmer is a life potentially saved. When you consider that the cause of one in three child deaths in the UK is drowning, you can see why we are so keen to be a small part of the solution.
