Level 2 Swim Teacher to Babies & Toddlers

Do you have a mad passion for teaching babies, toddlers and children how to swim? Would you love to go all out to inspire our swim members?

At Beaconsfield Swimming we deliver swim courses from local pools within 15-20 mins of Beaconsfield, Bucks. See us at www.beaconsfieldswimming.org.
You must be able to:
  • Deliver a range of planned swimming lessons
  • Demonstrate safe delivery of activities and practices in swimming lessons
  • Understand and be able to demonstrate to parents the use of various holds and supports
  • Explain how to meet the needs of participants
  • Deliver teaching methods to meet participant needs
  • Organise and deliver fun and engaging lessons
  • Implement adaptations to meet needs of participants
  • Assess participants

You are a shining beacon of awesomeness. You are friendly and approachable and greet everyone with a smile. Your ability to connect with adults and children is off the chart, and this is why you are so good at your job - people just naturally get on with you, and you with them! You also like to help make things better, and always have suggestions and ideas of ways to improve.
  • SEQ - Level 2 Swimming Teaching to Babies & Toddlers (or equiv)
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment.
  • Professional and courteous to everyone you interact with - including face to face, over the phone & via email / electronic correspondence.
  • DBS checked.
Your commitment….
This role is part time 6-10 hours per week. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business but generally once you have your course(s) your timetable will be pretty well set.
Job Types: Part-time as permanent member of team
Salary: £22.00 per hour

You need to be able to commute to Gerrards Cross and of course the work is in person

It would be great if you have achieved:
  • NLPQ Lifeguard (or would consider taking the course)

Your commitment….
This role is part time. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business; typical lessons take place during the day and after school. Occasional early mornings or evenings, as well as weekends. We are flexible however and always try to give you hours that suit you.
